What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA ) is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal produce directly from a farmer in their community.  Consumers know and trust  how their produce is grown. It is basically a farm share. A farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public.

Why A CSA?

We are so fortunate to live in the area we do. Plenty of our grocery stores are filled with organic produce. So why join a CSA?
Well, it comes down to knowing your farmer and knowing your food.
When you join a CSA you are directly supporting a local farmer. You are getting the freshest produce—harvested the morning of the day you pick-up your box.
CSAs are less expensive.  When you add up all that you spend at a grocery store on produce, the cost of what you spend on a CSA is much less.
CSAs are interactive. Have a question about a veggie? Want to visit the farm? Email us! That's what we're here for!
There are always fun surprises in a CSA box. Whether it's a bouquet of flowers or a veggie that you've never cooked with—a CSA brings out the adventurer in all of us!
And don't forget the recipes! Each week our subscribers get a newsletter full of factoids and recipes for that week's box.

How Do I Pay?

Subscriptions are paid in full, up front. We have easy payment options here.

How Do I Choose My Box Size?

We have a box everyone. Whether you're interested in supplementing your own home garden or want to share a with a neighbor—we offer a box size for everyone.

What If I Go On Vacation?

Everybody loves vacation! If you're going to miss a week, we simply ask that you give us a week's notice so that we plan our harvest accordingly. Your following week's box will be bolstered a bit when you return.

Can I Sub Out My Box?

Sure, you can give your box away to a lucky friend for a week! Again, just give us a week's advance notice and we can work out the details. Email us with your specifics.

What If I have Allergies?

Maybe you're allergic to tomatoes ( sorry! ). Let us know up front and we can make substitutions in your box.
